The development of DSP. What kind of digital live have we create!
This year is the 25th anniversary of the development of DSP. This means analog and digital signals has been in our life for a quarter of a century! Although it is only a small part of our human history, but this development has changed our world! In just 25 years, the small chip that is planted in our mobile devices and other electronics devices, has totally changed our ways in life, in work, in communication, education, ...etc. Our concept of time has changed from seconds to milliseconds and microseconds, and the traditional concept of signals has changed from analog signals which is created by many different voltage levels to a digital signals which is created by simply two voltage levels "0" and "1". Maybe in the near future, humans using the computer won't be needing a keyboard any more, just by planting a chip in our brain, by our thoughts it will send out digital signals to the computer to transmit commands. Can we imagine what could life be in a world without DSP? And what could happen next ...?

Great article~ Exactly~DSP devices are aroud our life~ Depend on teh. of semiconductor,micro-computer,faster speed of clock,and other tech. ,let us would more comfortable and convenient. Innovation is more important for the development of the new product! How to translate analog signals to digital ones is a large topic to reaserch ~!Sensor design will become a popular course!Likely Jimmy says ~ putting a chip into human brain and controling everything using your mind,how to convert neuron signals to digital signals into a micro-chip or DSP is a difficult mission.
